We recommend it for polishing hard stainless steels like HAP40 and ZDP-189, which quickly cause conventional finishing stones to dish; the Diamond Pro’s resin-bonded diamond surface stays flat instead. It needs only a splash of water to use, with a small dressing stone included to keep the surface true over years of use.
